Six new kits releasing today: Mu-tron III, Cornish classics, Phase 90 and more

Today we’re releasing six new kits, which represent many of our most-requested projects. Yes, we do pay attention to the vote counts!

Four of them are circuits we traced ourselves over the past few years, three Pete Cornish circuits and the Nordland ODR-C. We’re also adding two modulation pedals—the Phase 90 and Mu-tron III envelope filter—to broaden our selection.

Based On: Mu-tron® III
The very first commercial envelope filter effect, first released in 1972. Famously used by Bootsy Collins, Jerry Garcia and Stevie Wonder among many others.
Based On: Cornish P-2
Based on the classic Big Muff circuit, this pedal adds a meticulously-tuned buffered bypass along with an additional transistor-based buffer stage on the effect input.
Based On: Cornish OC-1
Pete Cornish's original optical compressor design features a clean blend and a complex side-chain for envelope detection along with his legendary input buffer.
Based On: Cornish CC-1
An original design by the legendary Pete Cornish featuring two soft-clipping stages followed by a 3-band EQ for a natural and tweakable crunchy overdriven tone.
Based On: Nordland ODR-C
An updated version of the definitive Nashville overdrive, handmade by the original circuit designer, adding three new controls and a number of other small refinements.
Based On: MXR® Phase 90
A legendary four-stage phaser that uses matched JFETs to create a moving phase-shift effect. Most notably used by Eddie Van Halen.
