Seven new projects releasing today: Cornish BD-1, a few phasers, a flanger, and a parametric EQ

Along with the Independence Day sale, we’re releasing seven new projects. We’ve got something for everyone: a brand-new Cornish trace for bassists, three optical phasers, an analog flanger, a parametric EQ, and of course a regular old guitar overdrive.

Three of them utilize stacked PCBs so they can fit in 125B enclosures (which we first did five years ago with the Hypercube), so if you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, these are a lot of fun to put together and the end result is well worth the effort.

Based On: Cornish BD-1
A vintage-inspired bass overdrive with germanium clipping and a 2-band Baxandall tone stack.
Based On: Univox Uni-Vibe
Originally designed as a simulation of a Leslie spinning speaker cabinet, it uses an incandescent bulb and LDRs to produce an asymmetrical phase-shift effect. It was most famously used by Jimi Hendrix.
Based On: Mu-tron Phasor II
A six-stage optical phaser that captures the swirly psychedelia of the 1970s.
Based On: BOSS® BF-2 Flanger
An early analog flanger that helped set the benchmark for 1980s modulation, from warm chorus tones to metallic resonance.
Based On: Pearl PE-10 Parametric EQ
A two-band fully parametric EQ with frequency, gain and bandwidth controls for both bands.
Based On: EQD The Depths
A four-stage optical phaser/vibrato inspired by the Uni-Vibe, delivering classic vibe tones with some modern updates.
Based On: Fulltone® Full-Drive 1
An adaptation of one of the original boutique pedals dating back to 1995, based on the classic Tube Screamer but with several hot-rodded additions.
