Dual-channel dynamic range compandor (compressor & expander) in a DIP-16 package, identical to NE571 and SA571 and functionally equivalent to NE570 and SA570. Used for noise reduction, particularly in modulation effects such as the BOSS DM-2 Delay and DC-2 Dimension C.
We have included both the original datasheet and application notes document from Philips for reference since all of the information and sample circuits apply to this chip as well.
