NJM3403AD IC

Quad operational amplifier in DIP-14 format, most notably used in the BOSS® OD-1 OverDrive and SP-1 Spectrum. Those pedals used the Raytheon version (RC3403A), but this is a second-source equivalent with identical specifications.

Despite the name, these are not equivalent to the MC3403 or LM3403 but were instead designed by Raytheon as an improved version of those chips. As far as we’ve been able to tell, the NJR/Nisshinbo NJM3403 is the only true equivalent to the RC3403, with the increased slew rate and ground-sensing topology. The MC3403 and LM3403 have a much lower slew rate and are essentially the same as the LM324.
