Single JFET-input operational amplifier in DIP-8 format. Good medium-fidelity choice, with a better slew rate than the LM741 but not as low-noise as the NE5534 or OPA134. Most notably used in the Crowther Hot Cake and also several Pete Cornish designs such as the SS-3, ST-2 and CC-1.
