Dual operational amplifier optimized for low-current applications. Commonly used for LFOs in circuits like the EHX Small Clone and for envelope detectors in circuits like the Lovetone Meatball and Cornish OC-1 Optical Compressor.
Note: LM358P and LM358N are the same chip, both manufactured by Texas Instruments. The “P” suffix was the original TI part while the “N” suffix was the second-source from National. When TI absorbed National, they kept both part numbers active.
