1μF metallized polyester film capacitors. 3.5mm width, 50V rating, 5% tolerance. Old-stock from WIMA (date codes 2017-2018), original part number MKS2B041001C00JSSD.
These are a narrower width than most other 1uF capacitors, 3.5mm instead of 5mm, and many of our projects are designed around this size. They were temporarily discontinued in early 2025 due to a raw materials shortage. We’re stocking them in the mean time so people can build our projects without having to track them down.
